Smart Assist by Mutare (SAM) is a unified messaging system engineered to integrate voice messages into today’s text-based digital workflow. SAM is designed around the visual communication channels workers use most. SAM delivers voice messages converted to text to mobile devices, tablets, and computers. Delivery channels include email, text messages (MMS/SMS), instant messages, secure mobile messages and secure browser steaming access. Like voicemail, SAM answers missed calls and can play announcements to callers and record caller messages. Unlike voicemail, SAM has no voice mailbox for message storage or requirement for users to manage by telephone.
